1. Hands down, Melissa’s costume. “Carnie Wilson from the perspective of the director of a Wilson Phillips video.” Brilliance. The boulder was hilarious.
2. Ollie as Frankenstein’s monster. Too adorable.
3. Jess, your Snooki wig was THE BOMB.
4. The Firefly guy at Jess’s party was really impressive. Homemade threads and everything.
5. Mike’s SWAT costume looked fantastic — and then he added a SAMURAI SWORD and it rolled over into epic. EXTRA Special Weapons and Tactics!

Thank you for understanding my costume, John. :) And for the nice compliment.
1) Mike’s friend Mike (the guy who cuts Nancy’s yard) dressed like Richard Simmons and it was HILARIOUS! He had the shorts, the puff painted “Sweating to the Oldies” tank top, and the curly wig. It was great.
2) Mike’s niece Anaclaire was Supergirl complete with the black boots. It was so cute.
3) Maddie wore turquoise rain boots with her witch costume. Extra adorable.
4) Jess’ Snooki costume was pretty amazing. And her “beating the beat” and fist pumping to the dance music was one of the weekend’s highlights. :)
5) My hubby put a lot of heart and soul into his costume. Plus he ironed “SWAT” on the back of his vest and made a grenade out of a tennis ball, so I am going to say his costume was pretty awesome. And his giddiness made it moreso.
